Mining towers, majestic buildings or unusual urban landscapes, all are landscapes that are part of the Daniel Franca collection. A Sevillian painter who travels the world to capture the beauty of it.
«Painting as a journey. As an exterior and interior travel. When you look at one of those open pit mines, it’s like facing your own interior. » Daniel Franca.
His vision of the world, as well as his travels and concerns, move him to create a universe of brushstrokes creating an explosion of colour, facing us to the pass of the time or the irony of a calm neighborhood.
His works have been present in the most recognised national awards, we highlight the first prize in the LXI Edition of the National Painting Salon “Ciudad de Ayamonte”, the first prize in Edition LXIII of the National Painting Contest of Gibraleón, the first prize in the XXXIV Edition of the National Painting Contest of Bollullos Par del Condado, the first prize for Painting Ateneo de Sevilla or the first prize in the XIV Edition of the Francisco de Zurbarán International Painting Contest.
